New Lazuli Collection 2015 2016

Once again, Lazuli surprises us with its new Autumn Winter collection 2015! If it’s already hard to resist its charms before, now it’s practically impossible! Its exclusive and original design is still quite remarkable on each one of these models and, if you’re a die-hard fan of this Portuguese brand, then one of these shoes must be part of your wardrobe now. The most amazing thing is how this brand’s able to create more elegant and other more casual models. Are you already curious to know which were the shoes chosen to be in this blogpost? Let’s see!

Lazuli again show us that it can create innovative and original shoes with its new Autumn Winter collection! Each one of its models is different, but at the same time easily identifiable with this Portuguese brand. And this season, there’re some models that I absolutely love and that I imagine not only for the cold autumn or winter seasons, but also for spring and summer.

Besides, Lazuli’s able to variate between more formal or more casual styles and, better yet, combine them both! And it’s for that reason that I decided to divide today’s EscapeShoes post in two sections, presenting at the same time my favourite models:

Of course, you can always, for example, use a simple pair of jeans and a t-shirt or jumper with one of the models from the first part for a more informal look. When we do this separation between looks, is because we think that the models in question look truly spectacular in the style chosen for them. Will you agree with us?

 

Ideal shoes for elegant looks

Personally, I can imagine each one of these Lazuli models with tights and a skirt or short dress and a shirt. In which colours? Well, the best thing about these two models is that they look great with practically any colour: black, white, beige, grey, green, yellow, blue, green, red…. Don’t believe me? Then, look and see for yourself!

Now you understand my point of view, right? Well, truthfully, both models have very similar shades of brown with a whitish layer on the front and heel, which gives them a different and almost shiny touch. Another common aspect that both share is the use of two different types of leather in their manufacturing: smooth leather and nubuck. This last one is more specifically located on the shaft.

The difference between the two is clearly on the shaft height, since the Rotterdam Brown ankle boots have a higher shaft, more like a boot. On the other hand, the Rotterdam Brown shoes have a shorter shaft with a curvier cut, which stylizes your ankles!

However, as you look both at the shoes and ankle boots, you must be asking yourself: Are these two really from Lazuli? It’s true that its traditional blue colour and classic tile, which represents the brand, are not as visible. But they’re not inexistent! That’s right! You’ll be able to find these two elements on the shoes and ankle boots, but in a discreet way. For example, the interior is lined with electric blue leather. And what about the tile? Well, that one’s well-hidden underneath, on the part of the sole closest to the heel.

No matter if you choose the shoes or the ankle boots, you can be sure that with whichever one you’ll always have an elegant look to show off during a work meeting or at a party with your friends, but, more importantly, you’ll also be comfortable.

 

Ideal shoes for casual looks

The next models have a slightly more sporting style than the previous ones, but at the same time cool and feminine. Any one of them looks great with jeans, skinny trousers, leggings or even shorts. Of course, you can always try matching them with a skirt or a dress, and you’ll also have a sensational look!

The diversity of colour of the Makkun Orange sneakers really catches your eye, right? Well, this is mainly due to their wool fabric that is soft and pleasant to the touch. It has different shades of green, blue, orange, white, yellow and black. Speaking of colours, the usual blue colour from Lazuli is also more evident in this model, not only inside, but also on the sole and shoelaces. Furthermore, their metallized blue leather, which is around the laces, contrasts and matches wonderfully well with the salmon orange leather that covers the rest of the shoes.

Regarding the model on the second image, I have to say that it’s my favourite of the entire collection! I love its leather with a tile print in shades of brownish yellow, deep purple, blue and green on a white background. And its platform sole will provide you the best cushioning, but also those centimetres of height that you wanted so much. However, the reason why I perhaps consider the Amsterdam Navy my favourites is because they’re slip-on shoes, something that I’ve been appreciating more and more recently. But where are the elastics that are usually on each side of the shoes? Do you see the piece with a grey background and Lazuli’s tile in dark blue at the front? That’s the elastic that will allow you to put on these shoes more easily, but without feeling your feet pressured.

It’s easy to imagine using both the sneakers and shoes to go shopping, to walk around town or a family lunch, right? Whichever the situation, you can be sure that your Lazuli will make you stand out among the crowd!
