Armistice and No Name

New brands at EscapeShoes!

If you’re an EscapeShoes regular, then you must have already noticed that the new spring / summer collections 2017 aren’t the only new things showing up at the online store. Since there are a few times we hear our customers saying that they want even more variety, we don’t like to disappoint and we added new brands to EscapeShoes! And believe us when we say that we won’t stop here!

Perhaps a few brands you’ve heard of and others not so much, but we believe that these new brands fulfil the customer’s desire for more variety, not only in terms of new brands, but also in terms of types of shoes. We’ll talk about the other brands in due time, but on this post we’ll more specifically talk about Armistice and No Name. Let’s go!

Armistice

This French brand prides itself for its simple shoes evocative of the Atlantic coast and nautical style. They present a casual yet equally comfortable design so that you can enjoy your daily walks to the max. Cases in point, we’ve the Border Classic Bruce Cognac sneakers and the Border Classic Linares Bruce Black sneakers. The first pair’s ideal if you’re one of those men that can’t decide what clothes to wear, since they match with everything! However, I’ve to admit that my favourite is the second one! Its combination of leather and fabric stands out but not in an overly ostentatious way. Just look at them!

However, if you’re looking for shoes that basically scream “coastal walks”, there’s nothing better than these that we’ll show you next! While getting their inspiration from the classic boat shoes, the Hope One Mexico Dove on the first picture below seem like simple light-coloured shoes, but if you look closely you’ll notice that the fabric presents small colourful dots in order to obtain a truly fun pattern. And don’t you think that we’ve left the women behind! For her, we’ve the Stone 1 Twill Navy shoes! They present neutral colours that are easy to match, are incredibly lightweight and have perfect finishes… i.e. they’ve everything that you may ever want in a pair of shoes!

No Name

Also of French origin, No Name had its beginning in 1992 by creating platform sneakers for the modern and urban woman of the 90s, the so called plato sneakers. Now, more than 20 years later, it continues to create current shoes relevant for today’s fashion world. If you don’t believe us, just look at the Arcade Punch Goat Suede White Fox Dove on the first photo below. They could’ve just made a simple pair of white sneakers, but instead they created a very original dotted pattern on the suede, not to mention the silver detail on the heel. And speaking of metallized colours, have you seen the Malibu Irun Gold sneakers? Their light gold leather’s ideal to add a little bit of sparkle to your outfits and even matches really well with their white outsole with the esparto grass detail, a very popular trend for this season!
