On today’s post we’ll find out about the latest brand that has been incorporated into the EscapeShoes team.

It’s Green Boots, created in Portugal in the year 2012 and heir of José Rodrigues Serrazina’s legacy. This Master Shoemaker founded the JSR footwear factory 58 years ago, in which the shoes are made in a handcrafted way by always seeking the best quality. Green Boots, with its headquarters in this same factory, is the result of the combination of the classic shoe with modern and unique elements that give each model a cheerful look, full of personality.

Green Boots keeps the manufacturing processes, the selection of material and the handmade work that guarantees that each shoe is made exclusively, with dedication and by taking care of every detail.

Furthermore, this brand, during the construction of each piece, uses the Goodyear Welt process, of the same name as its inventor Charles Goodyear Jr., which consists of incorporating along the perimeter of the shoe, between the insole and the sole, a leather or rubber strip. This way, it increases the thermal insulation, flexibility and the comfort of the shoe, and guarantees its durability, since it can be repaired an infinite number of times.
