Shoes for these Holidays: My own selection

Shoes for these Holidays: My own selection

Today’s post is very special. I’m going to talk about, as I never did before, about my personal tastes and about my selection of shoes for these holidays. However, I believe that you first need to know a little bit more about me.

The truth is that my style is very peculiar. I have to say that I only started to wear skinny trousers during the past two years. Before, I would go out with looser clothes and flat and open sneakers or boots, with the laces untied. That’s right, always with well-matched colours and alternating between feminine clothes and others, not so much… Now, in general, I go out every day with very skinny jeans in different colours. I like to match them with long coats, wool jumpers and, sometimes, I go back to my sweatshirts. I realize now that I always been a fanatic about vivid colours and was quite bold when it was time to dress.

That’s right, I became a little bit more feminine, but nevertheless, when I go out at night with my friends, I don’t usually go excessively dressed up. However, I have to say one thing, and that is that during the holidays I always find something elegant, even if it is borrowed, to wear during the most special days.

Now, the truth is that I like to use ankle boots or shoes that have a little bit of heel. I show you below my 3 favourites:

We will go in order! The first ones are the Dkode Carson Clock. I always loved Taupe on suede… And I believe that they are perfect for these holidays. They must be the ones that I associate most to the colour of the snow!

The following model, the Dkode Cassia Candle, I think that it has a super original and elegant design. The V shape that the shaft makes on the front stylizes your legs a lot. They are perfect to use either with skinny trousers or with dresses. You also have the same model in black, but, in my opinion, the Cognac is the ideal colour!

Lastly, these Fly London Gwen Goja, without a doubt, are one of the most feminine models. I tend to choose brown colours, even knowing that the black is easier to match. Well then, these shoes have it all!

These three are perfect to use during the rest of the year, which is one of the factors that I value the most. The heel has the perfect height to ensure that I feel comfortable and elegant.

Now, for the important evening events, I have other models up my sleeve. These that I show you now are the most festive:

Well, more festive… it depends! Because for the first ones I can think of many other occasions that I could wear them. Perhaps because the beige pieces of their heel give them that relaxed touch that I like so much. They are the Cubanas Nougat 200 Black Almond and they have a small platform that makes them more elegant.

I think that there are no doubts that the Lazuli Granja 02 Grey are a pair of festive shoes. I would save them to wear for a second time during a wedding. Now, I’m thinking about matching them with a black dress and some discreet silver accessory for these holidays.

There is still one more model that I would like you to see, the Xuz Fringes 3896-E boots.

They have the perfect colour, right? It seems to me that they are fantastic for a walk at night with my family, to see the city’s lights. In addition of being really warm, I love them because the top of the shaft can be unfolded, thus reaching over the knee. I will wear them with a pair of light skinny trousers and with my brown leather coat.

What about you? Do you dare to make a list like mine? Which one of the models would you choose? No matter which ones, remember that you can place your order online at EscapeShoes in a fast and secure way. Hurry, that you are still in time to be the queen during these holidays!
