During this autumn season, a good pair of boots cannot be missing in our wardrobe… They’re indispensable shoes for anyone of us! And… what is better than a post about our new models of boots from this 2015 / 2016 collection? Either you’re a man or a woman, with the items that we’ve selected for this post you’ll feel elegant in your day-to-day… Today, it’s really worth it to dedicate a few minutes to the EscapeShoes blog. Yes, we’re already in autumn, and winter… is just around the corner! Now is when we want to use shoes more appropriate for the coldest days and to feel cosier, right? Like each year, boots from the new collection have arrived at EscapeShoes, both for men and for women! And it’s a true pleasure to see different and irresistible models with which we immediately fall in love. I say in advance that this today’s post will be a little bit personal, because I’ll talk about the boots 2015 that I liked the most. Later I want to know if we share the same opinion. 😉
In addition of giving my personal point of view, I wanted to focus the post on three brands, which seemed essential and very meaningful to me in your new boots 2015.
- Cubanas Boots
Practically flat, made of suede where the straps with buckle stand out, surrounding the ankle, and… some more surprises!

With a higher heel, zippers that don’t go unnoticed and hot colours.
- Timberland Boots
Two models for men that are super easy to match and with which you’ll feel modern, light and comfortable.
Below, a little bit more about each one of the specific models that I’ve picked. I’m excited for you to see them and to be as surprised as I was! Well, I’m sorry if I’m being presumptuous, but I have an advantage… And it’s that I had all and each one of them in my hands! I assure you that only then will you be as fascinated as I!
I couldn’t resist… I wanted for you to see them right away! And without further delay, we start by talking about the first Cubanas model.
It’s the Doma Camel Gold, with a metallized colour that couldn’t be missing in a pair of boots for this autumn / winter 2015, don’t you agree? What happened with the metallized sparkling shades for them to be killing it this way? The best of all is that in these camel brown boots, the coppery gold looks phenomenal. Surely you find a matching bag! Furthermore, their ankle strap is completely removable!
And who doesn’t want a pair of black boots to not even think about the matching clothes? These Cubanas Liberdad Black fascinate me! Can you see on the photo that the back half of the shaft is elastic? It only has a vertical suede strip on the back, which gives more volume to the elastic piece and always keeps it with its original shape. Now imagine the comfort that you should feel with these boots, which adapt perfectly to your body without pressuring you. Walking with them will be a completely luxury!
Here you have two more boots! And this time I wanted to point out the brick red colour that Fly London offers us. It catches my eye because I consider it to be a very eye-catching colour, but, at the same time, very easy to match. I explain to you why! It has more intense shades and others darker, in a greyish or brownish smoked tone… And this is what makes them look as great with dark as with light colours.
The Hutton Hock boots, on the first photo, and the Logger Lada, on the second, are models that evoke different styles. Perhaps the first ones have a more sophisticated look, ideal for a workday or a more formal situation. They also have an elastic piece, more specifically on the side. Even though it’s less evident, it plays the same role. And if your style is more grunge, what do you say about the second model? They’re perfect and very original with all those metallic-liked details.
I reserve this section for the male sector, in which Timberland is the favourite. In these two types of boots, there’s a common element that has really caught my eye: it’s how light they are! Their sole is made of EVA and you just need to wear them for the very first time to realize how little they weigh. Therefore, when you wear them, you’ll feel well-rested throughout the entire day.
The first Timberland are the Brewstah Side-Zip, which mix suede and smooth leather. Their finish of seams and the strap around the ankle gives them a more relaxed look. However, if with your wide trousers the toecap is the only thing visible, they seem a pair of much more formal shoes. Have you seen how versatile they are? They’re perfect both with beige chino trousers and with a pair of jeans.
I admit that lately I have a certain passion for brown shoes with a white sole. And a pair of boots from the new collection that gather these features are the Bradstreet Chukka. Their short shaft is more padded on the collar and covered with a black fabric that is very pleasant to the touch. You’ll want for them to accompany you everywhere!
