Be inspired!
Quite recently we wrote a post here on the EscapeShoes blog in which we talked about celebrities’ closets. But if we really think about it, it’s from films that we take many ideas for outfits and decorating. That’s why today we decided to talk about a few films in which closets play a big part or simply because we’re fascinated by them. What do you think? Shall we?
This first closet that we’ll talk about is perhaps the one that you’re most familiar with. It is Carrie Bradshaw’s, the star of “Sex and the City”, a New York columnist that lives with her three friends. Briefly, the film’s about the intimate relationships between these four friends. It’s a simple closet and it’s not the most organized, but it’s one of the most desired due to its filling! Have you already seen it?
This second closet that we’ll talk about can be seen in “The Bling Ring”, a film based on a true story of a group of teenagers that stole from celebrities’ houses. The closet that appears in this film is in reality Paris Hilton’s that offered her house to film the movie. This closet has nothing to do with the first one that we mentioned and it’s much more luxurious, not to mention that it is colour organized!
A romantic comedy that stars a girl named Jenna that, by magic, goes from 13 to 30 years old. With all the twists and turns that this brings, her favourite part of this new life is her closet. And how could it not be! Have you really looked at it? It’s simple, big and well organized! Every woman’s dream! Don’t you think so?
The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement
This is the second part of “The Princess Diaries”, which is about Mia, an ordinary girl that finds out that she’s in fact a princess. With all the responsibilities that this brings, she decides to move into the royal palace, where she can also enjoy the comforts of royalty! One of these many comforts is the huge closet with ready-to-wear outfits and a lot of space to keep shoes! How nice!
This last film’s about Becky, a shopaholic. You’d think that a girl that does a lot of shopping should also have a lot of space to keep it all, right? Well, that’s not Becky’s case. The room, even though there’s a lot of colour, is very messy. However, all of us would like to have the amount of shoes that she has, isn’t that right?
Now that we’ve talked about a few closets that had the most impact in the cinematic world, we want to know… Is yours any similar or would you like to have any of these closets?
